Telus charges an activation fee of $80 which we waive in the form of applying a $100 bill credit. It may take two bill cycles to see this credit.

⚠️ Warning: This credit is a "Welcome to the Telus umbrella" credit. It is applied manually by their back-office. It may be denied, if you port your number from Koodo since Koodo is a flanker brand of Telus.

Dec. 27th Update: The credit is now $80 + tax and applied on the first bill. This way, you don't need to ever pay for the activation fee and wait for it to be credited!

As always, our process is very simple:

3. Follow our post-setup guide to port your number

Notes: Your SIM is shipped via Purolator by Telus directly. Expect it to arrive within 3-5 business days.

Your account must be activated with a physical SIM. However, you can swap to an eSIM after. Instructions are provided in our post setup guide which is made available to you after you order

Our Gold Series uses a combination of discounts. Some are ongoing, and some are for 2 years. Our discounts are guaranteed for at least 2 years, but the provider can raise the base rate with prior notice on your bill.

These price increases are how phone plans work in Canada and are not related to our service.

Don't worry about it. Our Gold Series have zero overage charges. If you happen to use all of your included data, you will receive unlimited data at slower speeds until your billing cycle resets.

We’ve been at this for over a decade, and during that time we’ve launched many different plan "Series". Each Series is built with its own carrier, its own backend process, its own eligibility rules, and its own level of daily availability. Because of that, the setup steps — and the setup fee — will always depend on the specific Series you’re choosing.

Some Series are so simple, even a toddler could get setup. Some require slightly more knowledge on your end about your phone, SIM cards and porting. It works the same way on our end. Some are so simple, we could do it with our eyes closed, and some require work behind the scenes. Some are so rare we can only activate a handful per day. That’s why no two Series will ever look the same.

We kindly ask all customers — even returning pros — to read the full page before placing an order.
